Gaming pc's are scam, dudes spending 1000's of dollars for more fps. When the pc games only look slightly better with slightly better performance, which the average user barely notices. Seems to me a lot of this wasteful spending is ego driven.

So cool that i have this NZXT H510 case for my 1st build. It has so many great reviews on Amazon, that I didn't initially know about the airflow issue. I wanted to exchange it for the better airflow upgraded ones, but I've already disposed of the box....which I normally never do!! I also have a DeWalt cutting wheel. I thought about this type of mod, but hadn't researched grills to use in the cutouts. Plus the idea of cutting into a brand new case for my 1st build seemed like a bad one. Thanks for making this video just for ME!!

Jay, I know it's highly unlikely that you will see or respond to this but I have a question. I currently have a 3600 amd CPU and a 2070 super graphics card and would like to upgrade. Would putting a 4070 graphics card in this system a waste of money? How about if I added a 5600 CPU? Or would it be better to save my money and wait a year or so and build a completely new system? (P.S. a 750 power supply.)

Easy solution, don't ever buy ASUS again until a full corporate restructuring and removal of all corporate management. Too bad most people are too lazy and spineless to actually do anything other than cry online. (Better Jayz? You going to delete this comment too?)

14:28 I'm probably outdated but Ccleaner is pretty good. I dont use its registry cleaner but its standard cleanup is nice after uninstalling programs and seeing it has cleared up 80GB of space.

No one is talking about Biostar, so I guess this small brand got it right

hope you realize that the motherboards you pointed out will now be used as the new standard for high quality and they will now lower their standards even more snd price those not breaking the bank motherboard up again

My biggest mistake: assuming that my ability to build my own pc 8 years ago has much bearing on my ability to do so now. Last year I upgraded a video card and had all kinds of problems, some of them of my own making by rushing to fix. I didn't notice the new card required a separate power. None of my old cards did. This caused issues which I made worse in my rush to assume other things were the problem. I did eventually resolve everything, but not before a profoundly borked reinstall of Windows and some very complicated problems with proprietary software not being usable on the new letter drive. Don't assume past knowledge gets you off the hook of reading the manual. :D

just did my 1st build ever an I upgraded nearly everything an when I got my new PSU evga 850 gold, after 2 weeks it crapped out on me, got a new one, got a new motherboard asus z790 tuff gaming, almost month later crapped out on me, now I replaced it with a asrock z790 taichi carrara an before I could even update the bios, it too has crapped out on me, is there something I'm doing wrong here? I'm pretty sure brand new componants arnt supposed to crap out so fast, when I say crap out, for the psu it jus stopped turning on, for the asus board it would no longer turn on, and the asrock when I hit power button it turns on for split second, then a clicking then shuts down, idk what that means but it feels like it's once again a power issue my video card is modest not monster but pretty good too got it 2 years ago, also when I plug in the tester the psu came with everything stays on, when I unhook everything except the board, it still shuts down after split second, somebody help me I'm seriously getting over this build with so many components needing replacing, thank God Amazon does returns no questions asked but it's still taken me a month now to get this pc up and running an my patience is wearing thin

Love seeing experienced professionals calling out companies on their BS, but i have a dilemma....i'm in the buying stage of my next major build and it's going to be a monster, but....with the cloud of negative energy around ASUS, it severely limits my choices for a B650 or X670 board. ive heard whispers of ASRock's bios being clunky too. so without spending an arm and a leg, what am i supposed to do with my motherboard choice if i want better than standard VRM's, PCIE gen5 ready in at least 1 slot, in white or black and white? i mean is Gigabyte really any better than ASUS or ASRock?

DEFINITELY mod that system!! Yank the AIO's and go with a double sided water block for the 4090 and set up a soft line loop that goes for both the vid card and cpu. And for sure put better fans in there. That would be a good build challenge. Cause you would have to source a 240 rad for the side and the top that doesn't over reach due to end tanks. And as usual, Corsair priced that damn thing for the RICH folks....

What a difference 3 years makes. I'm looking at a 3060 12GB for some entry level AI learning since they're cheap now at around $200 in mid 2024. I also put together my first system in probably close to 20 years after using laptops and older used enterprise equipment for non-gaming use. I ended up buying one of those overpriced 3090 cards, finding a Microcenter refurb with an additional 10% off, getting me the card for about $650 with tax. Coming back into system building after being gone for so long I was shocked to see $2000+ cards out there and $800-$1000 seemed to be the entry level norm. WOW! I look back at some of these "lockdown" period videos and I'm shocked to see people paid so much for these mediocre cards. It reminds me of the cars for $20k over sticker during the worst parts of the shortages. During that time I was perfectly happy to be playing on my XBOX that I got used from GameStop for $150 and driving my then 6 year old car.

I don't know why there is so much hype about protection, what can happen, you lose data, lock the computer, so what 99% of us use the computer for games and watching porn movies, and reinstalling takes an hour and the problem is solved. And who is interested in online shopping, spying, work via computer and second, let him buy another computer that he will use only for that, because when we have ten cell phones each, we can also have two computers.

ISSUE: Thermaltake includes PCI-E 3.0 cables with their cases. PROBLEM: Asus motherboard defaults to "Auto" speeds. If you set bios to PCI-E 3.0 instead of Auto, it works without crashing. RESOLVED:

This happened to me recently. I installed McAfee about two months ago. Everything was running fine, but overtime, I noticed that my laptop became laggy including when turning my laptop on. Even opening settings takes about close to minute. Then, the worst thing happened one week ago. The taskbar on my laptop takes about 2 to 3 minutes to show on the screen. At this point, I am already getting pissed at the slowness of my system because I am not tech savvy enouh to fix things like this. I also have trust issues with getting someone else to fix my device, hehehe. Then, I came across this video while searching for an answer here in youtube that will fix my laptop. So I thought, why not, let me uninstall McAfee and see what happens. And just like that, my laptop's back to its old snappy self again. I will never use that cursed app ever again. Had I not came across this video, that cursed app might have caused some other problem.

Doesn't work on my laptop and the factory utility doesn't either. Don't get MSI

As an HVAC technician there are many ways to keep your room cool. There’s levels to it depending how much money you’re willing to spend. The simplest cheapest thing to do is get a fan and exhaust the hot air outside.

Idk what to do anymore, ive tried underclocking, undervolting from knowledge, ive tried setting the power limits and yet. My computer still gives me a BSOD. Its unstable, at most id be able to play for about an hour then it just ends itself. Idk what to do, im using the 13700k and its just been progressively worse. I cant even go a day without crashing when i play games. Its not even just a game crash, the whole computer crashes and blue screens. Im tired of this.. and yes my psu is fine, its a 1000W power supply. 13700k with a 3080
